    Schemes being implemented by the Works department No.1

    The information about the roads owned by the Construction Department and the schemes being implemented for the maintenance and repair of these roads is as follows:-
    Yavatmal Zilla Parishad Construction Department 1 And 2 A total of 16 Taluka and Construction Department No. 1 Total 09 There are talukas (Yavatmal , Babhulgaon , Kalamb , Ralegaon , Pandharkawada , Ghatanji , Maregaon , Vani and Jhari (Jamani) and for the construction of roads and other constructions in these talukas, Zilla Parishad Construction Department No. 1 is responsible. The government has given the work of maintenance and repair of other district roads and rural roads to the district. The road development plan for the year 2001-2021 has been approved and according to it, the length of other district roads is 1345.66 km. Of which the length of B.T.road is 882.495 Length of WBM roads in km 124.005 Km. and unsurfaced road’s length 339.16 The total length of village roads is 3661.28 km. The length of the B.T road is 1548.405 Km. Length of W.B.M roads 321.915 Km. and unsurfaced length 1790.96 km. is as much. Such a total of 5006.94 Km of roads is under maintenance and repair.

    1. 3054 and 5054 Roads and Bridges(Tribal/Non-Tribal):-

      2. 3054 for maintenance and repair of Ijima and village level roads And 5054 Grants are received from non-tribal schemes and tribal schemes for roads and bridges. Year 2008-09 Such grants were being received till 2009, but now this authority has been given to the District Planning Board through the District Annual Plan. And accordingly in 2009 Since then, grants for the maintenance and repair of this road have been received through the District Planning Committee. Under this scheme, roads which are in very bad condition according to P.C.I of roads suggested by the Hon. MP , Hon. MLA or Hon. Officer-in-Charge have been inspected, and a budget has been prepared for such roads. Government Decision No. Jiwayo/1007 / Pr.No.31 / Ka 1444 / Dated 16 / 02 / 2008 In accordance with the guidelines given by the government from time to time, the program of these schemes is prepared and submitted to the District Planning Committee by the (Hon’ble) District Collector and Member Secretary. The District Annual Plan is approved under the chairmanship of the (Hon’ble) Guardian Minister and this scheme is implemented. In this regard, the Government Decision No. Jiwayo/2015 / Pr.No.191 / P.Ra-8 of the M.S. Rural Development Department is Date 03 / Sep / 2016 And date 29 October 2016 Guidelines have been issued under. Accordingly, for the year 2017-18 This scheme is to be implemented from. Since the Zilla Parishad has the authority to give administrative approval for roads and other works, after approving the works of the required amount, these works are carried out by the contractor through tender process and special benefits of this scheme are given for the communication of rural areas.

    2. Special repair of roads (Group B, C, D, etc.):-

      3. Under this scheme, special repairs of Ijima and village roads, asphalt renewal, gravel renewal, widening, construction and improvement of culverts, culverts, etc. are undertaken. The works proposed by the Zilla Parishad are approved at the government level.

    3. Constructionage Repair Program:-

      4. During the monsoon, the constructionaged roads of village and Ijima level are surveyed by the concerned sub-division , a program is prepared at the divisional level and submitted to the District Collector, Superintendent Engineer, and the government level. As soon as the program is approved by the government and funds are received, the said works are completed through tender process.

    4. MLA/MP Local Development Program :-

      5. Under this program, the works suggested by the (Hon’ble) MLA/Mr. MP are approved by the District Planning Department and the works like roads, social halls, huts, buildings, school wall compounds, etc. are carried out by inviting tenders from the contractors.

    5. Pilgrimage/Tourist Destination Development Scheme:-

      6. Under this scheme, the District Planning Department undertakes works such as construction of devotee accommodation, construction of protective wall, construction of parking lot, development of premises, construction of concrete road and steps, construction of compound wall, water supply system, cultural building, improvement of roads, access road, toilets etc. for Class C and Class B pilgrimage sites.

    6. Public Health :-

      7. Under this scheme, works are undertaken at the Zilla Parishad level for the construction of health department buildings, primary health centers, sub-centers, medical officer/staff residences, maternity wards, etc.

    7. Animal Husbandry Scheme:- :-

      8. Under this scheme, construction of non-residential and residential buildings of veterinary clinics will be done. Works are taken.

    8. Thakkar Bappa Scheme:- :-

      9. This plan Internal Tribal In the field The Gram Panchayat passed a resolution and approved it. The work done is received by this department from the Project Officer, Integrated Tribal Development Project, Pandharkawada, and accordingly, further action is taken by the department. It is done by the office. Under this scheme, internal cement concrete roads and construction of community temples , Gram Panchayat buildings , and community halls are being done.
